I was born and raised in Wyoming, where I grew up “country, but not rodeo.” I spent my early years working in and around construction, which taught me the value of hard work, showing up consistently, and taking pride in doing things the right way. That environment helped me to approach business in way that is practical, straightforward, and grounded in real life.
After owning and operating my own business, I gained firsthand experience with the financial decisions that come with building something from the ground up. Managing cash flow, planning ahead, and making long-term decisions were part of everyday life. Through that experience, I saw how easy it is for finances to become overwhelming without clear guidance, and how much confidence comes from having a plan you actually understand.
That experience shaped the way I approach financial planning today. Having been responsible for the success of my own business, I understand how closely financial decisions are tied to real-world goals and responsibilities. I work with clients to build thoughtful, flexible plans that support both their short-term needs and long-term vision, without unnecessary complexity or sales pressure.
I didn’t originally plan to transition into financial planning. It was through owning my own business—and eventually thinking about its future—that my perspective shifted. Considering long-term sustainability, personal priorities, and what an eventual exit could look like made it clear how important thoughtful planning really is. Around that same time, I made the decision to move to Aurora to be with my wife, which reinforced for me how closely financial planning and life transitions are connected. Those experiences ultimately led me to pursue a role where I could help others navigate similar decisions with clarity and confidence. At the end of the day, I do this work because I genuinely care about helping people feel prepared, informed, and confident in the choices they’re making—today and into the future.
Having been on both sides of major financial decisions, I understand how much clarity matters when the stakes are real. I work with clients to bring structure, perspective, and confidence to their financial lives—so decisions feel intentional, not overwhelming.
